Code of Conduct
Last updated: 16 April 2026
01Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all players of BloodConq and forms part of the Terms of Service (see /terms). It specifies the obligations under the user agreement and the standards by which we assess content and behaviour.[DSA Art. 14]
02Principles
- Fair play. You win through your decisions, not through software that decides for you.
- Respect. Even in the most heated war, the person behind the screen remains a person.
- Honesty. Reports are signed server-side. Claims that contradict those reports are not negotiable.
- Transparency of rules. What is written here applies equally to all — including moderation and clan diplomacy.
03Prohibited Conduct
3.1 Manipulation of the game
- Cheat software, bots, auto-clickers, scripts or external tools that automate game actions
- Exploitation of software bugs for personal advantage — please report any bugs you discover to support@bloodconq.example.com
- Reverse engineering of server logic, manipulation of network packets, circumvention of rate limits
- Account sharing with third parties or use of multiple accounts to gain advantage
3.2 Conduct toward others
- Insults, abuse, personal attacks
- Discrimination on the grounds of origin, skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age
- Harassment, stalking, doxing (publication of others' private data)
- Threats, in particular threats of violence — even within roleplay, threats must be clearly identified as fictional and may still be removed where they cause distress
- Sexualised content, content endangering minors, glorification of violence, unconstitutional symbols
3.3 Content in chat, clan text, player names
- Spam, advertising, commercial linking without express consent
- Phishing attempts, fake support requests, impersonation of moderation roles
- Player names and clan tags containing unlawful, offensive or misleading content
- Content violating applicable law, in particular German Criminal Code §§ 86, 86a, 130, 184
04Enforcement Actions
We apply the following actions in a graduated, proportionate manner. Severe or repeated violations may lead to permanent suspension without prior warning.
- Warning — written notice referencing the rule that was breached.
- Content removal — deletion of the specific post (chat message, clan text); enforced renaming of player or clan names.
- Chat suspension — temporary exclusion from chat and clan communication channels.
- Temporary account suspension — suspension of the account for a defined period.
- Permanent suspension — final closure of the account. Re-entry with a new account is not permitted.
05Reasoning and Appeal (DSA Arts. 17 & 20)
Each enforcement action will be communicated to the affected user with a comprehensible statement of reasons, including reference to the rule breached and, where possible, the concrete evidence. Exceptions apply only where the protection of third parties or ongoing investigations would be jeopardised.[DSA Art. 17]
Moderation decisions may be appealed within [6 months]. The appeal will be handled by a person who was not involved in the original decision. We will issue a reasoned decision within [14 days] of receipt where reasonably possible.[DSA Art. 20]
Send appeals to: [appeals@bloodconq.example.com]
06Reporting Violations (DSA Art. 16)
If you encounter content or behaviour in the game that breaches this Code or applicable law, please report it via the in-game report function or by email to [report@bloodconq.example.com]. A useful report contains:
- Who? (player name, clan tag)
- Where? (chat channel, clan profile, player name itself)
- When? (date and time, ideally with time zone)
- What? (screenshot, quote, description)
We acknowledge each report, assess it without undue delay and notify you of the decision. Misuse of the report function (e.g. repeated, manifestly unfounded reports) may itself trigger enforcement action under Section 4.
07Self-Protection Tools
You can mute other players in the game so that their chat messages are no longer shown to you. In cases of acute harassment we ask for an immediate report — we prefer visible enforcement over silent tolerance.
08Conduct of the Moderation Team
Members of the moderation team are identifiable as such in-game and are bound by the same rules of conduct that apply to everyone here, with a heightened standard of care. Breaches by moderation members will be processed publicly, where personality rights and investigative integrity allow.
